AO Fly Tying Station
Over the years we have dreamed of a place that would allow individuals to test a new material and/or technique. A space that would allow groups to sit and tie while conversating about their week. A space that we could sit down and help those who were having problems tying that one fly.
The top of Fly Tying Station and Checkout Area has never left Cherokee County. It came from a tree that Justin and his dad grew up under. It fell one day in some heavy winds, luckily falling away from the house. Justin's dad had it hand milled by a neighbor into rough cut lumber. We finished all the boards by hand and are very proud of the results.
Fly Tying events are open to the public and no scheduled itinerary. Bring your equipment in and we will have a seat reserved for you. Tie whatever you would like, and as always, we are here if you need any help.
